Apprentice Application

Interested in being an apprentice to one of the regions most accomplished restorers? Do you have the desire to learn? Are you willing to work hard and get your hands dirty?  This is a rare opportunity to learn the art of a truly dying trade. If accepted, you will have the opportunity to work side by side with renowned restorer and refinisher Rodney Keyser learning the skills and trade secrets you could learn nowhere else and in a truly rewarding and fun environment. As a former apprentice once said " this is like refinishing college". That same individual went on to become an exceptional finisher and is currently employed by a local company earning top wages in the field. Whether your interested in pursuing a career or just enjoy refinishing as a hobby,  for the right person, this is a rare opportunity indeed ! Note that this is an apprenticeship offer, and not a paying position. However, wages may be granted to cover transportation and expenses to certain individuals.

Requirements:

Transportation & drivers license is a must.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

You must be detail oriented !!

You must be willing to work at or Quakertown shop location

You must smile often and laugh at all Rod's jokes!

Be willing to do the" thankless" work (stripping, sanding, etc.)

as well as the "fun stuff".

Make a good pot of coffee.

Be very enthusiastic about learning this trade.
