Do you refinish furniture ? Believe it or not, this is the most common question I am asked. Yes, we refinish furniture.

Do you strip furniture ?  Yes, but we only offer "stripping only" service on clear and stained finishes....not paint.

Do you strip interior or exterior doors, shutters or woodwork ?   Sorry, but we do not.

My furniture is not that old, will you still work on it ?  Absolutely ...yes we will.  We are very diverse in the type of furniture we refinish and restore. If it's worth doing, we do it.

Do you restore antique furniture, or do you only do refinishing?  Restoring Antique furniture is my first love, but unfortunately the antique roadshow mentality has swept across America and not many people are having work done to their antiques anymore. I am afraid this will have dire consequences in the future, as these old pieces need care and maintenance for future preservation. Less may be better, but nothing is worse.

Do you paint furniture?  Yes, we offer a variety of painted finishes and are always open to your ideas as well. Lately, rubbed through antiqued paint finishes and shabby chic painted finishes have been very trendy and we do a lot of this type of finishing.

What type of paint and finishes do you use? Most of our modern finishes are Sherwin Williams catalyzed lacquers. We also use shellac, oils, and waxes when the job calls for it.

Do you offer pick up and delivery?   Yes

Do you charge for pick up and delivery?  This depends on various circumstances. If we feel we can do it without charging extra, we will do our best to waive any delivery fees. You would be surprised how often we may have another job going on in your home town. When we can group jobs together...everyone wins. Just keep in mind, that "free delivery" is a scam. Businesses can't operate by doing anything for free...especially the costly service of running a truck around. Usually, the cost is absorbed into the price of the job. The larger the job, the easier it becomes to build in the delivery cost.  We prefer to be honest with our clients and if $50 needs to be tacked on for delivery, that is what we will tell you.

Do you work in my area?  If you live in Southeast PA or anywhere in NJ, than Probably....we may be a small business, but we cover a huge service area!! 

Do you accept small jobs?  Yes, we do.  However, to keep a cap on very small jobs overtaking the shop, we have a shop minimum of $150.

Do you perform on site (in home) repairs ?  We no longer offer this service.

Do you refinish kitchen cabinets?  Yes, we enjoy doing kitchens for our clients. Part of the job (casework) is performed in the home, and part (doors, drawers) in our shop.

How Can I get an estimate?  The best and fastest way is to click on the Get A Quote tab at the top of our webpage and fill it out. If you call, we will only ask you the questions on the form and have you send pictures anyway, so it saves everyone a great deal of time. If we price something without a picture, chances are we will quote high as a worse case example and you wont like the price anyway, so please send us a picture.

What is your turnaround time?  This changes daily, so you will have to ask when you submit your estimate.  It could be anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks depending.

Do you accept credit cards?  Yes, but we do have certain restrictions so please let us know that credit card will be your form of payment.

What are your terms?  We require a 50% deposit upon pick up and the balance upon completion.
