WOOD SLAB COFFEE TABLE
Here is a very large wood slab a customer asked us to sand and finish for use as a coffee table.
Above....Sanding would have taken too long, so we made a special jig and used the router instead.
Above...After we finished, it's obvious how much we had to remove to get a flat surface.
Above....We then sanded the surface smooth for finishing using hand sanders

Above...Finished and ready for delivery.
Tack Trunks (2)
(used to store horse supplies)
This was a really fun job...thanks for bringing them to us Laurie!
Our job involved turning two matching, very used tack trunks into
the crème de la crème of tack trunks.
Above....... pictures of the trunks when they arrived. The plan was to strip and clean off the old finish,
replace the top molding, add rope inlays to the top, add base molding (with rope inlay) new specialized
handles and lid supports, a gold leaf/black plaque on the front and castors...and all to be finished in
black lacquer.
Above left... we stripped the finish, removed the beat-up edge moldings, filled and sanded.
Above right.... new moldings were added and the channel was routed for the inlays.

This Sideboard is part of a set that included 6 Chippendale style chairs and a dining table. All were refinished to match the
china cabinet, which was in decent shape and was not in need of refinishing. The quality of this set was terrific,
a real pleasure to work on. A perfect example of why refinishing should be considered before replacing.
