However, even if you choose to pre condition your wood, VERSA clear tintable stain doubles as wood conditioner. Just add one coat of clear stain, and your wood is sealed.

Â Our stain contains specialized hydoxypropyl polymers as one of the ingredients that contain gelation and film forming properties that aid in preventing colorants from penetrating too deeply into wood fibers.
