OUR STORY

WeRefinish was founded in 1991, but the journey actually began in 1982, the year our founder began working in a furniture finish and stain production facility. From 87 to 90, he apprenticed with two separate furniture repair companies. In 1991, our business was born in his parent's garage and from 1991 through 1997 we operated an "in home" furniture repair service with many high end furniture stores as our accounts, providing a service that repaired newly delivered furniture that was delivered either damaged or flawed. In 1997, our business model shifted over to private and commercial client refinishing and over the following 25 years we would refinish or restore over 10,000 pieces of furniture for happy clients all over northeastern United States. Our first stain was developed and offered for sale in 2004. Many specialized products were developed through the years for use in our refinishing business, which has won numerous awards. Today, we develop and supplying fellow wood finishing enthusiasts with the many water based finishing products we've created and invented over our vast 40+ year wood finishing career. We've remained a small family run business, where you can still speak to the owner. We love what we do, we're very proud of our pedigree, and our goal of supplying the US with the very best innovative ECO FRIENDLY wood coloring and finishing products.
