YU-Tint Transparent Liquid Wood Dyes by WeRefinish are metal complex wood dyes in a universal non toxic solvent resulting in a very universal dye stain additive that can be used in a variety of ways and is an absolute must have for every wood finisher. Our Liquid Dyes can be applied directly to wood as a dye stain, or can be diluted with water for a less intense color. They can be added to our clear base stain in combination with our semi transparent colorants to make custom stains. One of the most common uses for YU-Tint Liquid Dyes is adding them to clear finishes and creating custom toners. YU-tint liquid dyes are compatible with practically any finish EXCEPT oil based products. They can be added to all water based finish’s, as well as shellac and most all solvent based lacquers and sanding sealers as well as conversion varnish.

Van Dyke Brown is a darker brown dye that is an the cooler side and can be a very useful color often mixed with different dyes to create any tone or brown stain.
