Having refinished over 15,000 pieces of furniture in his career, he knew exactly how a water based stain needed to perform and we developed what we think is the perfect ultra premium stain.
Our Ultra premium Semi transparent stain applies super easy and it’s rich in both pigment and dye colorants, so it offers exceptional coverage with beautiful rich color that will enhance any wood while still being budget friendly. All WeRefinish brand stains are designed to have more working time than other brands of water based stains, giving you extra application time and no streaks !!
Another aspect that make the WeRefinish stain unlike most other brands of water based stain is the ability to NOT get blotchy when applied on most soft woods. So why you ask ? Our stain contains specialized hydoxypropyl polymers as one of the ingredients that contain gelation and film forming properties that aid in preventing colorants from penetrating too deeply into wood fibers. This means that on most wood species, our stain doesn’t require a pre-stain conditioner.
