WeRefinish brand Semi Transparent Hybrid Water Based Wiping Stains were first developed in 2004 by renown professional furniture restorer Rodney Keyser. Having refinished over 15,000 pieces of furniture in his career, he knew exactly how a water based stain needed to perform and we developed what we think is the perfect ultra premium stain. Our designer Series stains are a thick bodied stain, almost a semi gel in consistency. They are heavy in premium colorant and each color was individually created by Rodney himself.  Unlike most water based stains, our Designer Series WB Stains DO NOT require a pre stain conditioner (it’s built into the stain). They go on evenly and consistently without blotching and have a longer open time, giving you more time to apply and work the stain than typical of other water based stains.  Low VOC, environmentally friendly, Low Oder,  water clean – up and produced by a small family owned business in the USA.
